Team sponsorship

HCE is renewing its team sponsorship policy from the 2024-2025 season. With the new partnership with Gunneman Sports, we have taken a good look at the policy regarding team sponsors. We are making it clearer and easier!

Do you have a specific connection with one or more teams and would you like to support them in achieving their sporting and recreational goals? Then there are various possibilities to contribute in this way, but of course we are open to new ideas and we would like to talk to you to exchange thoughts about this.

HCE is happy to facilitate team sponsorship and encourages our members to dress professionally and uniformly. We welcome any initiative from teams looking for their own team sponsors. Grandparents or parents with their own business who want to support the team financially without expecting anything in return, is no problem. Any other form of sponsorship must be submitted to the sponsorship committee for assessment in advance.

In many cases, this team sponsorship takes the form of one or more advertisements on the clothing and materials of our teams. The main sponsor as well as the partners of HC Eindhoven enjoy industry protection. In order to ensure that our current agreements with existing club sponsors are not jeopardized, there are a number of rules that teams and their own sponsors must comply with. In order to realize the team sponsorship as easily as possible, a number of special packages have also been put together together with our main sponsor Gunneman Sports.

Competition uniform – Flag teams

Due to the national visibility and contracts with existing sponsors, sponsoring the flag teams (H1, D1, O18-1, O16-1, O14-1) has a different value. This is by definition custom work and we would like to discuss the possibilities with you. Sponsoring the match outfit of these teams is reserved for main sponsors and partners of HC Eindhoven.

Competition outfit – Broad teams

The competition outfit of the broad teams must be purchased via our clothing partner Gunneman Sports. Being a main, club, project sponsor or partner is a condition for placing your advertising message on the competition outfits of the broad teams. Costs incurred for this are not charged to HC Eindhoven. Do you want a club sponsor on your competition outfit with your team? Contact the sponsorship committee of HC Eindhoven and we will arrange that together!

Other clothing and materials

Of course, you can also sponsor other materials than the competition outfit for a team. This includes training suits, sweaters, bags, etc. The condition is that these materials, if possible, are of the Indian Maharadja brand and that they are purchased via our partner Gunneman Sports. Please contact the sponsorship committee and we will arrange this together! In addition, we would like to discuss with you whether you would like to do more for our club in the form of, for example, club sponsorship.

Information for teams

The internal regulations (art. 20) state that “Advertising on the kit or materials provided by HC Eindhoven or sponsors is only permitted after approval by the board of HC Eindhoven”. The board has delegated the implementation of this to the Business Club/sponsorship committee. In addition, our clothing partner Gunneman has exclusivity for using the HCE logo and the name HC Eindhoven on sports clothing and materials before, during and after the match.

If you want to use the HC Eindhoven logo on the sponsored material, you should purchase this, if possible, via Gunneman Sports. Additional costs may be involved. HC Eindhoven can support the purchase of clothing packages and/or materials if necessary.

Costs

All additional costs incurred for team sponsorship (such as purchasing clothing or other materials) must be settled by you in consultation with the team in question and will not be charged to HC Eindhoven.

Reporting obligation

In order to ensure that our current agreements with existing club sponsors are not jeopardized, every team and member of HC Eindhoven has a reporting obligation regarding new sponsors. If you propose a new sponsor, we would like to ask you to first submit this to the sponsorship committee (via sponsoring@hceindhoven.nl). With every advertisement on clothing, materials and/or club outfit, both per team and individually, it will be checked whether there is no conflict of interest with business club members and/or disproportionate "free" advertising. The board reserves the right, in the event of non-compliance with the above rules, to prohibit the sponsorship afterwards or to charge an additional sponsorship contribution. In addition, we would like to ask them to make the sponsor a 'Friend of HC Eindhoven'.
