Enjoy hockey? Register now as a member of HC Eindhoven!


For boys and girls, hockey is more than just a weekly hockey match on the field! Outside of the matches and training, parties are regularly organized, there are tournaments in which you can participate and indoor hockey is played during the winter break. All youth teams participate in the indoor hockey competition at HC Eindhoven. Senior teams can register for this. There is always something to do at HC Eindhoven! And the involvement of our members (and often their parents) in the club is great.

When can you become a member?

You can start playing hockey from the age of 6! If you turn 6 years old before October 1, you can become a member of the hockey club at the start of the season (September). If you turn 6 after October 1, but before March 1, you can become a member after the winter break (February). You can also start playing hockey from the age of 5, provided there is enough space. On this website you will find almost everything you could want to know.

When are we going to play hockey?

The first half of the season runs from early September to mid-December. Then follows a winter break, including the indoor competition if possible, and the second half starts from mid-February to the end of May.


What do you need?

Artificial grass shoes and shin guards are highly recommended. A mouthguard is a necessity! Twice a year it is possible to have a custom-made mouthguard fitted via HC Eindhoven. For clothing, you can wear regular sportswear. Only when you start playing official matches with a team will you have to purchase the club uniform. Finally, the most important thing: a hockey stick! You can borrow this from us in the clubhouse for the 2 trial training sessions. Then you buy your own stick.


Would you like to get acquainted with the sport of hockey?

When you register, you can first take 2 trial training courses to see if you like it. This applies not only to children aged 5 or 6, but also to juniors who want to play hockey. For them, there is a separate training group at HC Eindhoven with children aged 12 and older who are taught the basics of hockey together with their peers before they are added to a team. You can start playing hockey at any age! You can register via the register menu option on this website. The further procedure is also explained there.
