Talentencampus

For the beginning junior hockey player, HC Eindhoven offers the Talent Campus. The ages in the Talent Campus vary from 5 to 16 years. Here, the most important techniques and game forms are taught. If the player has mastered these sufficiently, he or she can move on to a competition team and play matches. The training sessions are on Saturday mornings from 9:00 to 10:00 on Field 3 (green field). The head coach is Richard Dingemans. He is assisted by an enthusiastic group of youth coaches from the club itself.

The Coordinator of the Talent Campus is Mariëlle Schilperoort (talentencampus@hceindhoven.nl).

Does your child want to join? You are most welcome, great! What do you need to do?

Step 1:

First register your child with the membership administration by completing the form on the website www.hceindhoven.nl/l2-inschrijfformulier.

The contribution for the Talent Campus (www.hceindhoven.nl/contributie) for the 2024-2025 season is:

€40 per quarter season

€80 for half a season

€120 for three quarters of a season.

 €160,- for a whole season

You do not pay a registration fee. You also do not receive an invoice immediately. Your child can first try if he/she wants to continue playing hockey.

Step 2:

You will receive your login details for our HC Eindhoven app (Apple and Playstore) from the membership administration (Loes Moonen ledenadministratie@hceindhoven.nl)

This app lists all training Saturdays for the Talent Campus.

Step 3:

You will receive an email from the Talent Campus Coordinator (talentencampus@hceindhoven.nl) with the date on which your child can come and train for the first time. We have 4 fixed intake moments per hockey season.

For the 2024-2025 season these are:

1st intake date / 1st quarter = September 7, 2024

(cancellation date no later than October 11, 2024)

2nd intake date/2nd quarter = October 12, 2024

(cancellation date no later than March 14, 2024)

3rd intake date/3rd quarter = March 15, 2025

(cancellation date no later than May 9, 2025)

4th intake date/4th quarter = May 10, 2025

(cancellation date no later than May 31, 2025)

Example 1:

You register your child on January 10, 2025. He/she can then start on March 15, 2025.

Example 2: You register your child on March 31, 2025. Then he/she can start on May 10, 2025.

Step 4:

The contribution payment.

If your child wants to continue playing hockey, you don't have to do anything! You will automatically receive the contribution invoice after the end of your first quarter of the season. This invoice is pro rata, so if your child became a member halfway through the season, you will only pay half of the contribution.

If your child wants to stop, we ask you to send a cancellation to ledenadministratie@hceindhoven.nl.

Please do this ON TIME, otherwise we will assume that your child will remain a member.

Training days

The Talent Campus will train on these Saturdays in the 2024-2025 season:

September 2024 : 7-14-21-28 

October 2024: 5-12

November 2024 : 2-9-16-23-30

*winter break*

March 2025 : 15-22-29

April 2025 : 5-12

May 2025 : 10-17-24-31

June 2025 : 14

Trainings always go ahead unless there is snow on the field or the fields are too slippery. Keep a close eye on the site (www.hceindhoven.nl) for the latest news!

Materials

We will lend you a hockey stick for the first few training sessions, after that you can buy your own stick. Make sure you have sportswear and sturdy shoes for your child and gloves and thermal clothing if the weather is cold. Shin guards and a hockey mouthguard are not yet mandatory by the hockey association.

Progress to a competitive team

Children stay at the Talent Campus for at least 2 quarters of a season (half a season) to learn the basics properly.

There are 2 moments when children can start in a competition team:

Moment 1: at the start of the hockey season (2025/2026)

Moment 2: immediately after the winter break (March 2025/2026)

For the 2024-2025 season these are:

Example 1:

Your child has started in the 1st quarter season. Then he/she trains the 1st and 2nd quarter at the Talentencampus. Directly after the winter break (moment 1) he/she is then placed in a competition team.

Example 2:

Your child has started in the 2nd quarter season. Then he/she trains the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarter at the Talentencampus. At the start of the new hockey season (moment 2) he/she is then placed in a competition team.

Faster or later progression at the request of the Club or parents is always done in consultation with each other.
