Reporting point

HCE Reporting Point

The association's confidential contact person (VCP) is the first (easily accessible) point of contact for anyone who has a comment, question or signal about inappropriate behavior in any form whatsoever.

You cannot make an official report to the VCP, but you can send a signal. The job profile, working method and responsibilities of the VCP and the confidential counselor of our association can be found here

Reporting point.

You can file a report or a complaint with the club's sportsmanship committee if you cannot resolve the matter with the other person (member, trainer/coach, committee member, etc.).

The sportsmanship committee will deal with this report or complaint on behalf of the board.

Please note: for reports concerning sports-specific subjects, you can contact the responsible committee directly. Think of:

  • If you are dissatisfied with the performance of a referee, please report this to the referee committee
  • Comments about the performance of a trainer, report this to the youth committee or senior committee
  • If you have a complaint about the rented material, please report this to the materials committee

If you do not receive any or insufficient feedback from the responsible committee, you can report this to the sportsmanship committee.

The contact details of the relevant committees can be found on this page HC Eindhoven

The association has a disciplinary committee that can only be called upon by the board to handle reports that cannot be handled by the sportsmanship committee and/or the board.

For all other reports and complaints, please contact the Sportsmanship Committee.

This can be done by email: sportiviteitscommissie@hceindhoven.nl

You will receive a response from the sportsmanship committee within 48 hours.

Other reports from club activities such as possible violations reach the committee in different ways. Yellow and red cards that an HCE player receives during a match are reported via the association, other cases come in via the board.

Sexual harassment:

In case of suspicions of sexual harassment, both the sportsmanship committee and the board have a duty to report to the sports association. In case of suspicions of sexual abuse, a report is made to the police. For the sportsmanship committee, it does not stop with just a report, it remains involved in the process of the report that must be followed up in full.

If supervisors (trainers/coaches) suspect sexual harassment, they are obliged to report this to the sportsmanship committee.

All other members of the club have a reporting responsibility, which means that if they see something that is not right, they should report it to the sportsmanship committee. The committee can then investigate this report and ensure that the right thing happens with it.

If someone does not want to go to the sportsmanship committee or finds it complicated, that person can contact the Dutch Center for Safe Sports directly https://centrumveiligesport.nl/contact

or the Hockey Association https://www.knhb.nl/over-knhb/organisatie/medewerkers#vertrouwenszaken
